Checkerboard Overlook Ride
This ride is mainly flat and takes approximately one hour. Riders traverse the plateau that overlooks Checkerboard Mesa in the Park. Many species of natural trees and shrubs line the trail. Riders see Checkerboard Mesa from a view point right on the edge of Zion National Park . Photo taking is encouraged. This is an easy ride for beginners.

Jolley Gulch Ride
Jolley Gulch is a cool, tree lined ravine that is home to large ponderosa pine trees and an old homesteader's cabin that dates back to the beginning of the 1900's. Jolley Gulch ends at the Cave Canyon dry fall, a spectacular 150 foot cliff in the Park. A small stream turns the dry fall into a beautiful waterfall during thunderstorms. Riders can cross through the Gulch to the Park fence where they park their ATVs and walk the additional 50 yards on foot to the stunning dry fall. This ride is excellent for intermediate or more experienced riders and lasts approximately one hour.

Pine Knoll Ride
Pine Knoll is the highest point in the Southern section of the ranch and boasts a 360-degree, panoramic view of the East Zion area. The trail ascends the backside of Pine Knoll up a steep logging road. Plenty of time is taken at the top of the Knoll so plan to take your camera because there are some great photo opportunities. The deep canyons of Zion's Narrows can be viewed to the west, with Checkerboard Mesa to the south and the 10,000-foot peaks of the Dixie National Forrest to the North. The return trip is an exciting, downhill ride and guests must carefully negotiate the trail to keep the ATV on the road and out of trouble. This trail ride is not for beginners but can be enjoyed by anyone who has a few rides under their belt.

Englestead Long Ride
This intermediate ride takes you north of the ranch to a view point of Englestead Canyon. This is a twisting, winding ride with some rocks and other bumps in the road. The trail runs through a forest of mixed pinion, ponderosa, juniper, and sage.

Englestead Extra Ride
Englestead Extra is not for the faint of heart. This is an advanced ride that will have you off the seat of your ATV, leaning and shifting your weight to keep from tipping. The trail follows a ridge line out to a point where you are looking down into Orderville Canyon. You won't want to forget your camera on this ride.

Englestead Canyon Ride
An extreme ride that takes longer than an hour. For part of the ride we cut a trail into a hillside that is about 60 degrees or so. The trail is barely wide enough for your ATV; lose control and it is a bouncing, tumbling trip down 200 feet to the bottom. The guide, who is ten feet in front of you, drops out of sight. You pull up to the edge and your heart drops. You inch over the edge, lock all the brakes, and start to slide. There is no stopping until you get to the bottom. what crazy person put that sharp turn right there. The view at the end makes it all worth it.
